Here are three established agents looking for clients. Emma Parry, founder of Fletcher & Parry, is looking for nonfiction and literary fiction. Adam Muhlig, whose clients include Pulitzer Prize winners, is looking for narrative nonfiction and fiction. Jordy Albert is looking for Middle Grade — contemporary, fantasy, action/adventure, or historical, YA that has a very strong romantic element, and New Adult romance and adult romance (open to pretty much any genre).

About Emma: Emma Parry joined Janklow & Nesbit as a literary agent, five years after selling her half of Fletcher & Parry — which she co-founded in 2004 . Parry was born in England, where she worked closely with VS Naipaul, Germaine Greer and Helen Fielding. She has been writing, developing and editing manuscripts and screenplays.

What she is looking for: “I’m on a scout for serious talent. I’m primarily interested in championing nonfiction, but will consider outstanding literary fiction and upmarket commercial fiction. I’m not looking for children’s books or middle grade.”

What he is looking for: Adam is looking for fresh voices, both in fiction and narrative nonfiction. He is interested in new analyses and fresh perspectives by or about mavericks in the field of music — from jazz to classical to punk/pop — as well as texts focusing on natural history, travel, adventure and sports.

About Jordy: Jordy Albert is a Literary Agent and co-founder of The Booker Albert Literary Agency. She holds a B.A. in English from Pennsylvania State University, and a M.A. from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She has worked with Marisa Corvisiero during her time at the L. Perkins Agency and the Corvisiero Literary Agency. Jordy also works as a freelance editor/PR Director.
