Adam Muhlig, whose clients include Pulitzer Prize winners, is looking for narrative nonfiction and fiction. Jordy Albert is looking for Middle Grade — contemporary, fantasy, action/adventure, or historical, YA that has a very strong romantic element, and New Adult romance and adult romance (open to pretty much any genre).
Make sure to read the agency’s website before querying to see if your work will be a good fit.
Note: You can find a comprehensive list of agents seeking clients here: Agents Seeking Clients.
About Emma: Emma Parry joined Janklow & Nesbit as a literary agent, five years after selling her half of Fletcher & Parry — which she co-founded in 2004 . Parry was born in England, where she worked closely with VS Naipaul, Germaine Greer and Helen Fielding. She has been writing, developing and editing manuscripts and screenplays.
What she is looking for: “I’m on a scout for serious talent. I’m primarily interested in championing nonfiction, but will consider outstanding literary fiction and upmarket commercial fiction. I’m not looking for children’s books or middle grade.”
